Haha! It was really cool...much more entertaining and more relaxed than I expected. There are multiple refs of multiple ranks...and their clothes tell you how far up the ladder they are (of course there's a hierarchy). I can't remember exactly, but I think the fewer things you wear on your feet, the higher your rank.
By the way, women still aren't allowed to ever touch or enter the sumo ring. They'll "contaminate" it.
